Now I read quite a few books during my 27 Goals Challenge. Here they are in no particular order. I will star (*) the ones that I highly recommend reading if you have time and let you know which ones to avoid.
Europe on 5 Wrong Turns a Day (Doug Mack) – I was really bored with this book. I expected more out of it.
Ish – Geting the ‘Ish Out in the Open (Regina Griffin) – Do not waste your time with this book.
*Pups in Tea Cups* (Carolyn McCray) – No longer sold through Amazon… sorry)
Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers (Mary Roach) – I do recommend this book for those that are interested in the science and anthropology behind it all… it is not a book for most
The Book of Tea (Okakura Kakuzo) – Really short… not really worth it
The Girl in the Italian Bakery (Kenneth Tingle) – I kept waiting for it to get better… then it was over…
A Royal Pain (Megan Mulry) – A good beach read… not really believable
Disenchanted (Robert Kroese) – A waste of time
Eloide & Heloise (Cecilee Linke) – a good coming of age drama type books
Glimmers (Barbara Brooke) – for some reason this is part of a series… meh
My Mormon Crush, My Dog Eats Poo (Lucy Liew & Lisa Lim) – Thank goodness this has disappeared from Amazon
The Elite (Kiera Cass) – Not too bad. It’s hunger games meets The Bachelor
The Gardens of Almhain (Laura Mallory) – Just when the book finally gets interesting… you only have 50 pages left… skip it
I also listened to Alcatraz Versus the Evil Librarians (Brandon Sanderson) through Audible. I highly recommend this book even if it is geared towards a younger market. Read it to your kids!
