Each year Mr. Wonderful and I come up with a box filled with random items that could potentially be used by BEE while she is teaching her kindergarten class. Usually these boxes start with a random discovery in the house or a random question.
– Year 1: Popsicle sticks: While cleaning out Papa’s barn, we found one section of the floor was littered with thousands of brand new popsicle sticks… most likely from the reject bin at the popsicle stick factory by my great uncle’s house.
– Year 2: Index cards: Found a random box in the attic full of index cards. How many packs can fit in a flat rate carrier? No idea… I forgot to count.
– Year 3: Crayons: Office Max had a super sale before the start of school in our area so we bought as many as we could to answer the question of: How many packs can fit in a flat rate carrier? No idea… we both forgot to count again.
– Year 4: Tubes: TP Tubes, Paper Towel Tubes, tape tubes… any tubes we could find… and a few hundred medicine cups. We just wanted to see what she could come up with.
Year 5: A giant box full of giant coloring books
 Year 6?
