No… we did not just spend one day in France.
The next morning we went to la Basilique de Sacre Coeur de Montmartre and climbed the hundreds of stairs and dodging the street sellers to gt up to the Basilica itself.
And then we climbed the hundreds of steps to the top… because that is how we roll.
TripAdvisor’s Paris City Guide said that Sacre had the best views of the city and it does. I climbed all of the tall things I could legally climb in Paris… these were the best views.
It also was not as crowded as a lot of other sites we visited. Sure many people wanted to see in the church, but not many took the time and effort to go around the church to find the place to take the stairs to the top.
Or maybe they were just too tired after getting to the church itself to climb to the top of the church.
And of course we went during fashion week.
In reality though… the views at Sacre are the best.
