Tonight is the night for the summer solstice. This is where the sun is at the furthest north it will go in the year. Today, the first day of the summer season, is marked with the longest length of time between sunrise to sunset.
That is… unless you are in the southern hemisphere right now and you’d be at your winter solstice… and enjoying the longest period of time between sunset to sunrise.
As I am a big fan of having as much daylight as possible infused into my day (that is if it is not raining) the start of summer is always one of my most favorite days!
What will you do with your extra daylight today?
